The only thing hot in my workshop right now is the turning of screwdrivers on a Dynamic chassis for the Thingie Proxy race. Want to buld a Tripod Stockcar for me? I've had 4 Stockcar kits sitting on my bench for about 6 months

Craig made this a bit longer for me due to my bad habits, he knows what I can do with it on a good day but also on a bad day. Team COART is lucky to have you Craig as our builder, and Barney is pretty good also, his 1:32 stuff JET'S.

I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

I had to cut my own slots for the main rails & relocated the pin tubes, but kept the tabs for body support. The pans fit nicely, making the chassis under 3" wide & the axles are jigged for 13/16" tires. Look for this in the mail this week, Bobby.

Hey Craig, Are the pan upstops the axle tube?
Yes Sir, I've also seen Gorski use spring upstops on one he built for Jay Henry but I have found leaving them free smooths out the car in the doughnut on the Gerding King. At least it suits my driving style.

I knew those Warmack pans I cut off the kits would come in handy for something.

Whose guide tongue is that?

I want to build an anglewinder around the Hawk but want to run it first to see if it's a practical choice or not.
I know that Russ Toy is working on one as well and maybe we can try them out at our race this Sunday. We shalllll seeeee.......
O/S Ti-22 body. S7 motor geared 8-26, Hawk will be geared 6-26
Main rails are .060 wire, front slabs are 1/16", bracket slab is .3/32"
Rear bracket is (I think) a BPR that was lying idle. I shoulda used a JK F-1 bracket.

Whose guide tongue is that?
This guide tongue was robbed off of a Pierce chassis that Barney gave me. One of the only items on the car that could be recycled.

As for the motor bracket, not to worry as these things produce a huge amount of bite so you will more than likely have to narrow them more than what you currently have on the car now. Oh, that is a WRP bracket by the way.

There are some new features added to the Samurai II after over a year of testing and racing it. Some revisions to the plate. I threw one together to showcase some of the changes for viewing.
New features: integral guide tongue, built in lead wire loom, and the bite bar tabs. There are many ways to build it now with additional slot for double rail chassis or fill with a wire and build it a mono rail. You will notice two 1/4" holes in the pans, there will be 2 lead slugs with each chassis if you want to add that weight at the lowest possible point. Plate is 1" guide lead and if you want the plate can be had flat with no coining for you own tongue. More info when it hits The Parts Counter Later this week.

Will it use a standard, or a "cut-down" flag ?
Nice, Rick
