Good to see you building Russ. That car should be way 'bitey' so if your conditions and the owner's preferences are a fit, it should be gnarly fast.

On behalf of Kamo-san, I would like to post some pictures of IRRA Retro Stock Car chassis he has built for the first time for that class.
The rolling chassis without a body weighs 110g, so a complete ready to race car with a body would be around 120g.
There are enough room for placing lead weights for better handling.
A nose section on the right of the above photo is a proto-type of a new Can-Am nose-piece.
I will race this chassis at the coming Retro Palooza at Hudson Valley Raceway in New York.

This is my first chassis I built since my house fire back in March 2012:
It's basically the same 1/32 design I've built before, but the FK motor is now centered between the wheels.
The gear ratio is 14/42 72 pitch with JK offset tires (.600 wide).
The inital test at SCR's flat track was promising, even though it's was geared way too low (12/42 72P). We'll find out when we have our next retro race at Frank's on the 19th. See you there.

I really like that clean look of the bottom view!
