Great stuff!   Yellow and white make a nice fade.   Lots of incredible paint jobs on these cars.

Thanks for the comments. The Mantis was already painted when I obtained it in one of the Tom Scott auctions, and the Needle bods came from Gene/ZR1 painted by me. (painted is very loosely used here lol).

Been a bit under the weather lately but...

I finally add these two Classics to my collection!

Two little rescues with loads of work to fully restore. Both are runners sporting taller Silicone-Foam rears as well.

Truescale clear bodies and paint and trim/mounting by Jairus!

Here hoping, just looking at your rescues make you feel a little better. Nice cars, well done.

Nice rescues!  I'm always happy to see the Classic Ind. cars being restored to like new condition.  They may not be the best handling, but they are the best looking!

I struggle with Diabetes and the many solutions and meds that must be taken.

Here is a photo of the undersides of these two Classics!

I finally picked up a difficult to get Monogram SNAKE that had bad wheels sets, but was in decent shape nevertheless.

I replaced those ugly wheels and dried out tires that had no inserts with new Mila Miglia ones from my stock.

I think although not completely original, is still a beaut!

Collective wishful thinking might work? He is a SB member or you could try this contact  http://www.truescale...s.com/index.htm

As usual I'm late to the party. But.. that link is dead and while I did manage to find the True Scale website everything I click on says "no products available".. I did just get some great bodies from Gene though and they are very nice.

This one was in my father-in-law's attic. Later issue car, but the box is the first series "Cuc" box with the wide edges.  It was sold off in the late '90s when I cashed out a lot of slot cars. I wonder where it is now???

attachicon.gifCUCARACHA.jpg

THAT is the nicest open top Cuc I have ever seen! I don't know if it's a trick of the lens but it's the most beautiful color ever.
