The decals just showed up today.
They were shipped by International Express Post for $36 Australian. Pattos did their part getting them shipped on Dec. 2nd as promised. They sat for 9 days before they were finally put aboard a plane to the US.
Now I need a few days. I in the middle of my Champion chassis and I want to finish it...........
And thanks for your interest in my project.

I finally applied the stripe decal that I initially botched:
I think this Lancer Super Competition Ferrari makes one spectacular slot racer:
Talk about low and swoopy:
Lancer's interior is pretty amazing too:
Very fun build.
That's number 3 of my Lancer's "fabulous first four" Super Competition body collection.

Rick you are so great at bringing back history and making it real. Jose would love this so much. He was one of my best friends ever and i loved him. We loved running the Ferrari P4's , i think the most beautiful car ever made. Congratulations on creating such a masterpiece! I love everything you do and this one is especially meaningful to me. Thanks again.

Beautiful build and body.
Does anybody know if the "longer. lower, wider" bodies complied with the very scale NAMRA rules?
Cheers

Thank you guys.
"Does anybody know if the "longer. lower, wider" bodies complied with the very scale NAMRA rules?" Bill, you got me wondering about the actual size of the Ferrari 350 Can Am. The real car was a 1/24th scale 3.270" wide. That's what this body measures. Makes me wonder what Lancer's scale body was?
Thank you Howie. I enjoyed everything Jose shared with us eager slot car enthusiasts. His workmanship was impeccable and inspirational. To think that he would approve of my attempt to honor him with this build is humbling. Thank you.
