Just a thought: in this internet connected world, how is it known that the person is from or located in Argentina? Even mailing addresses can be spoofed.

He advertises that he is from that country

Postscript:

I want to thank Mike Swiss for his recent comments with regard to that individual selling the motor opening tool on Facebook.

Mike's totally unbiased comment speaks volumes about this individual and how, when questioned, he responds. Bravo Mike Bravo!

Most of us have kids and some grandkids. You can see how the internet can cause issues where kids commit suicide because of something said on the internet or, even worse, like murder.

We have seen the results of this in the media.

It's very easy to assault someone online, but not so much in person; hence it happens a lot with AI in the foreground its only going to get worse

At the end of the day, it's just grown men playing with tiny electric cars!

Well, if you have been following the news and weather lately, you see that huge storms have hit the northeast with torrential rains, causing floods and tremendous damage to areas that are not usually subjected to this type of weather.

Many of our racing community live in this part of the country; I hope the impact has been minimal for them.

If you know someone in this area, contact them and find out how they are coping with this unseasonable weather.

The fall racing season is slowly approaching, along with a recurrence of Covid outbreaks.

Be aware, racers. Take precautions; Covid is still out there.

Until then.

Well, where did summer go? I mean it was just yesterday that it was Memorial Day.

Anyway, the fall racing season is upon us big time.

I just held my warmup retro race, and we had a small but great group of racers, and we had plenty of guest help for marshals.

But it seems when we have less marshals' guys tend not to come off, what's up with that?

Everyone was in agreement with that phenome, during the race.

Has anyone else expedited this?

Less marshals less track calls?

Down here we have had a huge resurgence in FCR racing, this class has become so popular among our group.

Well, that's it for now looking forward to seeing some old faces at the races and making some new friends as well.

Take care and be safe out there COVID is still among us.

Leaving this week for Florida to race in the Southern Shoot Out at Fast Eddies

It's always a good time down there with plenty of fast guys to go up against

One or two of my local racers from my area are going as well

Will try to take pictures of the race and post them

until then

Guys as a final note - keep NOOSE in your prayers.

Even though I live no where near the Retro East guys this individual who we call NOOSE has been the solder that has held the North East guys and to be honest a lot of us from other parts of the country racing Retro.

He a little rough on us when it comes to tech on the cars but we all remember the tough teacher in school

who got us to where we are today!

At least I do and I am from the BRONX!

Get WELL NOOSE FAST. It’s not the same without you, and we all know it!

Just got back from the Retro Race at Fast Eddies, had a great time

While I am thinking of it, I saw a great idea on a fellow racers box.

He had his contact information on a card in the event of an emergency.

We all hope it doesn't happen but if it does happen at the track people need to be notified and whom?

With a card in your box in plain view if something does happen, they know who to call.

I am making one up using an index card and a red border with names and numbers blood type etc.

Those of us who were in the military know what to put on it, just like your dog tags!

Anyway, think about guys, you might never need it but if you do it will save those helping you out a lot of time getting in touch with those loved ones that need to know.

Well enough of that, Eddie had me as Race Director for the A main in Coupes

Doc came in 1st, Terry 2nd, and I came in 3rd in the B main in F-1

F-1 B.jpg

Eddie Fleming came in 1st, Mike Moock 2nd, I came in 3rd in the C main in Can-Am

Everyone in those two pictures is drawing Social Security and Medicare !

A big thanks to Eddie Hoffman for putting on a great event, looking forward to next year.

The next Race for me is the Brutal Fall Brawl!

Well, the news lately has been the tragedy unfolding in the Carolinas and Tennessee and Virgina areas affected by the rain from the Hurricane that went through the area.

Let's keep those people in our prayers, so close to the holidays for this to be happening.

On another note we are winding up the racing season for the majority of us.

Good luck to all of you who are supporting the tracks with you participation at the respective tracks.

For me I am getting ready for the Fall Brawl.

Until then - Stay safe

I’m in the Asheville, NC area and just got power restored tonight after 12 1/2 days.

The National Guard helicopter pilots are getting their flight hours in, that’s for sure.

Many private guys are flying, too, but they are often frustrated by difficulties coordinating with FEMA et al. because of the devastated communication infrastructure and the usual bureaucracy.

But everyone’s efforts have been greatly appreciated, and that is the understatement of my lifetime.

My most heartfelt thanks to those working so tirelessly to help mitigate the situation left by Helene. And have had to wind their way through the maze left by our bureaucratic system of government. Now they have another catastrophe to deal with. God be with every one of you.
