-4 here this morning. I waited for it to warm up to +14 before I went outside. Our cold weather comes from NY.

 

But it's a dry cold. I was in Syracuse for Thanksgiving Friday was 5" of snow and yes, I know New Hampshire gets its share of snow but you don't have lake effect.

sometimes we get winter nor'easters with ice storms though. that's why i have a generator, which runs on propane. i also have a snow ramp which runs up into the woods off the end of my driveway, and a plow truck which will climb a wall. and a snowblower with rubber tank tracks for the walks. 

problem is, stuff melts a little during the day and then forms into a sheet of ice at night.

30° feels like 19°, I think it feels like 0°.
I got as far as the lead and springs. Was hoping to test it tonight but, I'm not sure if anyone is going to be there.
When people think that 48° is not bad, something is seriously wrong.

Jumping back to page 1, it sez blue tyres, blue tyres it shall have. Amazing how these come back to life with just a few 1/100" of a cut.

Where did you get the vintage axle for your Hudy? I would like get a hold of an axle like that to true my vintage tires. Did you purchase it or did you fabricate it?

I apologize for not responding or posting sooner. I've had a rough start to the new year. I'm just waiting for the plague of locus.
As for the 5/40 Huddy axel, I made it.
