Love the stance Mark. Love the cut down 2D too.
As a side note this yellow/gold color was one I was always lusting over from early on. Jad/Riggen cars used it on some of there RTR cars.

In the '60s, we cut holes in the body to clear Champion brass guide weights on 36D cars. You wouldn't do it today, except maybe on a "thingie", but it worked.

Before low and wide bodies were sold, racers would cut down the bodies like your Chaparral. The car has the right color. I like the period look.

Here are a few Dynamics I've acquired over the years. Would like some help identifying these vac body types or brands if you can. The first purple sidewinder one with added scratch brass pan has a blue motor can with a sticker I can't fully read without taking the motor out which I haven't, but maybe someone can tell what it is from the letters "howkill" that it seems to read. Maybe it's "showkill," as the first letter or more aren't showing.
Also there is a green inline #11 Indy type car loosely resembling a Lotus or Brabham, and lastly a red inline that is probably a Bugatti. Thanks for any help.

Howkill was a rewind company but that motor looks like It also has a highly modded endbell too pretty cool!.

Thanks Mark for the motor brand and Bandit type chassis info. I did a follow-up check on the Hamill car and it still seems to run fine, so will leave the endbell as is with its 'battlescars'.

Good observation Lee, I've now checked the endbell and see it's on its last legs for sure, so I'll find a good endbell for it and replace it. Amazing that it ran at all when I checked it on a transformer.

Howkill mostly used Classic motors for rewinding. They were located on the north shore of Boston.

Someone mentioned having a Dynamic only class of racing. As an owner of several, some dating back to the mid 60's I think that's a great idea!!

Back in 1967 during the "run what you brung" days, in my 1st commercial race series, a 36D finished 1st & mine was 3rd, In 2nd place was a Chaparral powered by a stock 26D in a Dynamic cast sidewinder. These Dynamic chassis parts now have collector interest & go for big bucks. Yes, racing them in a Dynamic-only race would be fun, but how many having them would want to race them? Here in New England, we don't have the tracks.

I dug these out of another box of my stash, a couple more Dynamic chassis cars used on some old timer bodies. The first seems like a late '30s to 1940 style maybe a Pyro or other brand model kit body painted flat black over black molded plastic. Crude and unfinished but still kind of neat. Maybe some of you will recognize the kit it came from and the body make. I've forgotten what the blue can motor means as to brand. The second car looks like a '32 Ford Victoria maybe Lancer body painted dark oliver green with maybe a Bonner brand motor. I think I bought this one at the Toledo toy show many years ago. Hope you like em.

Who made the front wheels on that car Mark. any idea? I haven't seen them before.

On first thought, they look like someone's drag racing fronts. Maybe something from Speedway, but I might have expected them to have bearings.

After having a dismal few races with my Russkit Carrera series sidewinder my dad talked me into the Dynamic Ferrari sidewinder with the one piece front end and it was a game changer! I ruled "Kit Car Night" until everyone went to La Cucs. Since then the original Dynamic is gone but I've found some online in poor shape that I've "restomodded" I guess would be the word for it.
I used a Doms Asp body because it fit so well with the car.
Obviously the Classic FT26 helped that decision.

This one caught the eye of the local 32nd scale heroes. It had a 16D in it but that died while I was enjoying lap after lap on the track so I put the Retro Hawk (I think thats what it is) in it. Loads of fun to drive.
Riggen wheels really set it off.
