Thanks guys!
Finished up a couple more bodies this morning.

This one included mounting. Hard to resist adding numbers and striping but this is what customer wanted.

Hmmmmmmm.....love the paint job on that Dave Lenz special...Wondering how that red/black fade with silver would look on a Red Fox Audi coupe for GT-1 racing..... . Great job there sir.

Finished this up this morning, a little Ferrari Dino Spyder. Body was heavy on the yellowing, like the Chappy, but painting it red alleviated much of that problem.
Mounted it to this little Champion chassis. Pretty neat package if I do say so myself!

Added a touch of Flourescent Racing Red to the standard Pactra Red so this color really POP's and screams F E R R A R I !

Finished another project. Well... nearly anyway. This is one of 4 illustrations I am doing for a 1/20th scale Cox motored Funny car. This illustration will be on the back of the box.
Posted Image

This one will go on the front along with the name of the product and a cellophane window. Customer wants speed lines and more 3D look to the dragchute, which are still to be added.

Just to let you know that I am not sitting on my hands here..... LOL

Joe,
Yes!
The artwork went to the layout artist on Friday.
Test shots are already approved.
Could show up on store shelves in April.

Now that is cool as the art work.
I had a bunch of fun with these cars as a kid .
I hope the quality is half as good as your work.
Any plans for the front engine Dragster?

Negotiations are currently underway in the deep, dark confines of Casa del Tex. There appears to be a crack in the armor of the iron-fisted CFO. But I must proceed with due stealth, lest my efforts go for naught(Jethro, how do you spell it?).

All hand painted (with gold leaf numbers) and detailed... and then mounted on a nice laser cut chasiss. The owner is a firefighter by the way.... :)
