Awesome paint job, Jairus !!!

I can increase the clearance if needed.
If the rear of the pans droop and drag too much, put a small piece of filament tape under the wire stop.

P.S. the wires should be above the drop arm hinge

:D Jairus; These are simply UNBELIEVEABLE! Maybe you can put a small JW in an unobtrusive spot so these become signed pieces for all posterity! The drivers, roll bars, and injector stacks are MAGNIFICENT! I may need to build up another Pit Kit just for the Bruce and Denny Show! THANKS Again Jairus! Tony Brown

You are very welcome Tony! :)

Finished up a couple this morning...
This one for Tom mounted on a Pablo chassis. More pictures will be posted on the build thread.

This one for Rick's Mura Thingie. Note the clear areas left to give the illusion of wings and body shape.

Wow, those HO bodies are fantastic, Jairus. Great Detail and I love old McLarens to begin with. The NASCAR stockers are great looking also. Looks like my favorite NASCAR body for slot racing, a Parma Intrepid. I love seeing the work you do, it makes me wish I had a steadier hand and more patience.

Finished a few racing shells.
Couple of Ferraris...

And a Cooper-Maserati...

And two Can-Am Interiors. Now dosn't that look a whole lot better than using a Sharpie?

Send me your tired, your poor and crappy interiors with a little $ and I can make you a Tech passing beauty that can be used over and over and over!

It is my understanding that this is going up on eBay so smash your piggy banks if you want it. I track tested it last Sunday and it is a strong screamer and very fast with very fresh JK natural rubber on those Russkit rims!

Painted this for Markus Theiler. He choose the body so I assume that the rules over there are a little broader concerning the body choices for D3 racing. Posted Image

He also sent over a chassis I had built for him a while back, now with a Proslot motor installed. Markus asked me to set it up for racing, so testing will begin as soon as the wheels and gear arrive from NCP (Ultra slow on delivery but dependable). More pictures later....

A one year freaking project comes to a close tonight.

A moment of silence please........

Received a Monogram Chaparral 2d body many moons ago with the wishes of the owner that I would "find a chassis" and paint a body for this please. Keep it as close to original as possible were the only parameters.
Well, I am no Chris Clark (bosmek) but I think it turned out pretty well!

Posted Image

There was a huge crack on the starboard fin. I am guessing it was from forcing the wing back into the holes.
I had to glue it back into position, putty and paint. Not to mention clear coat to match the rest of the car!
Posted Image

This is the chassis I started with....
Posted Image

And then with equipment installed....
Posted Image

Interior painted and installed....
Posted Image

And under the skirts....
Posted Image
Hope Ralph likes it.... ;)

Jairus that chappie is a true thing of beauty. If I may be so bold to ask how do get such crisp lines on the clear bodies you paint? what do you use as a frisk or tape? It would be great if you could post some Pictures from start to finish on how to do it. Thanks for your posts I am sure they inspire all!
