\ If a geek had the same body no one would say anything....
I guess I am not a geek then. But then again when this subject came up....... my name was the only one mentioned out of all the ugly, boring bodies Harry seen in the Sano pics.

Not all 1:1 racing cars from the 60's were beauties; if the "spirit" is to be invoked, then there MUST be some "less than beautiful" slot cars also, just to keep things realistic, right? As an example, look at that picture of the Lotus 19 with the Bardahl sign on the back of it.... pretty dang ugly race car. McLaren's were 1 color, at least until they sprouted big wings. My favorite cars, the Chaparral's were 1 color in boring white. I wouldn't be surprised if some privateers used 1 color of fence paint on their cars. They did what they did to get "in the show". Why should we have to do any more just because ir's 1:24 scale?

There is no rule that says the bodies have to be painted in the exact liveries or like the cars run in the 60s. Nor do we require cars made to the exact scale specs.

Apple's and orange's Ron. In the other thread we're talking about chassis construction. In another discussion regarding chassis construction Mr. Gets It quoted.......

I guess the same thing could be said and applied to bodies.

You posted a picture of the car you ran at the R4 and asked "is there anything wrong with this paint job". So I told you what was wrong with it. Plain and simple, ain't I peachy?
