That should do it!

you want me to drive something else like some rev-happy, no torque until 5-grand on the tach, noisy Japanese hopped-up drift machine that I can humiliate in seconds with my grandpa machines?
Don't think so buddy...
On paper your old E55 is about 2/10 th quicker in the 1/4 mile than an EVO. I assume those magazine tests are with pro drivers? For most mortals the EVO will win due to the all wheel drive and traction control. Any kid can take it up to 4K and drop the clutch and rocket out of the hole. Keep telling yourself those lies, I'll put $50 on the kid with the EVO. LOL

Rob, not a problem, this is why there are choices in life. I prefer low-end torque to screaming revs, I guess it comes with age...
Agreed - went from Honda VTEC with red line on 8500 to turbo Volvo V50 estate. No need to rev anymore

Looks good Tim, but does it have enough for my 70.5 Z28 350/360hp?

Last time at the track.
Chasing a 911 RSR that finished in the top ten at LeMans back in the day.
But this day he had trouble finding a gear on occasion.

Here is a car we are currently restoring.
It was Andy Porterfield's last race car.
Livery will be a Porterfield tribute with modern graphics.
1992 Pancho Weaver built Trans Am/IMSA GTO spec chassis with a 93 Camaro kevlar body.
Radial slicks and an 18 degree motor with 730hp at 8400rpm.
Video of our first time out before restoration.

Very mundane "geezer" car: 2015 Volvo V60 - 2000cc turbo - nearly 2X the HP of my 3L Healey and quicker than most of what I drove around Lime Rock etc. back in the day.

Steve; glad you got your Boss 302. Is a GT350R in the works. What does mamacita think about you riding the crotch rocket?

Thanks Dave! I love the Boss 302, I wanted one when they first came out but refused to pay dealer mark-up. I bought this one two years ago with only 1,100 miles. Maybe down the road I'll get a GT350R after the prices come down. I really need a bigger garage first...
The wifey isn't too keen on bikes but after 20 years has accepted the fact that I'm really into them, when she met me I use to keep my bike in the living room.

She's a gem. Pretty hard to find someone who will put up with our hobbies for an extended period of time.

The Ducati is beautiful, I used to keep my Bultacos in the living room of the Townhouse I bought in 1972, a Pursang and an Alpina.

Here's my fun car, a 1979 911SC Euro Spec. Not a daily driver due to no A/C (hey, I live in Florida!) so it's mostly relegated to late fall, winter, and early spring drives. Nonetheless it's still nice to get it out on a cloudy summer day, open the windows and sunroof and let the wind blow through my hair.

I thought all cars in Florida were white to reflect the heat.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

I guess if we are showing pictures of our Porsches, I should toss mine in. 1970 914/6GT. Built 2.7 with 2 Weber 46IDA3Cs, 901 box converted to dog ring, full cage, wide Fuchs, steel flares. 2012 lbs wet. Outruns most 911s
at Road America. This is the only non-Brit car I own, other than the Challenger which I don't count.
