But after that... they had better be in the mail soon. Anything not posted, will not race!

I think Barney decided a long time ago to not take part. I just forgot to take his name off the list. He is after-all hosting the second race.
The rest are still finishing up projects that I have seen in construction and intend to take part.
Jens as well... which make 20 entries by my count.

Bob, I would consider that really rude for someone to be late for the deadline, then make last minute challenges to other entries just about the time they need to be sent off.......

I personally have looked at all the entries (that were ON TIME) and have no challenges for any of them.
Those that are LATE, don't cry to me when I challenge you without giving you enough time to fix the problems.

In a PC world calling 'someone' rude is 'rude' But I'm OK with that rude stuff.

I'm not going to tell the great folks that are helping out to hurry the fluck up cause 'someone' said it's rude.
If I post in the Cars section then changed the body .... who would be crying then?

Bob, I'll wait until I see the official photos. It would be dumb to make judgement until then.
Also, thanks for reminding me I'm not in the race, you are correct and I forgot about that.
My car owner would have to make any challenge(s).

If I was in this race, I'd be protesting the Alligator Jerky sticker. Here in the Northeast, we can't event get alligator shoes. Guess I might have seen one too many episodes of "Swamp People."

Man...the entries for this thing are all off the chart. The cars all seem to be a LARGE step up from those in the last Proxy. Most seem to be taking the "light-weight-thingie-with-lots-of-horsepower" approach. Bob's has more of the low-mass "handling" approach...

Hi John,
I started out a little on the heavy side because of all of that horsepower you provided me with! It gave me the option to "thingify" it with a few not so strategically place holes...just like the old daze.

ALL your parts together STILL,youve had at least 3 months to get the car together,,,
youre lucky Jairus is SO LAX on the time limits,,,,,,,
we've all had the same amount of time to get your car together,

I believe in Jairus 100%, and he asked us to pardon several entries to be LATE.
As the "benevolent dictator", Jairus has the right. I respect that.

For some reason, my crappy camera shows my car blue when it's actually purple. It only gets it right when I use flash..... Weird.

Time to invest in a better camera, I think.

Bob (S) The chassis looks splendid! Even with the holes, I think you'll have a definite handling advantage over me with that much mass that low. All I can hope for is that:

1) I don't emit any smoke
2) I gain in speed what I lose in handling

Having seen yours and Tony P's cars and some others as well, I think I'm doomed. Still...the MRSSS is in it regardless

Well, Barney can speak to this himself, but I sure didn't help him on this one. He gave me some specs for arms and somehow I did something completely different...AND caused myself extra grief and difficulty in the process. Sorry Barn, I still don't know what happened!

I'd rather not protest anyone, but I think obvious visual stuff should be called out as soon as it is noticed. As earlier noted, we had ample time to conform to the rules. Jairus was pretty damn clear. I'd hate to have his job.

I thought dying a gear was a little bizarre, but in the spirit of things, I did it anyway. I might have preferred current OTC tires, but I made some up because everyone else had the same issues.

I guess we all wouldn't be slot racers if we didn't whine about the rules and try to cheat. I am including myself in this group, so don't get excited.
