Okay... I'll give you this one. The one and maybe two tracks that Steve has hinted at for the Pacific NW run are set up for .020 and .030 braid depths.
AND....I'm pretty sure that the North London track is .020.

And the SSME track is all over the place.
Here is my entry, finally.
I've wanted for a long time to try hinging the pans on the outside and stopping in the centre, a bit like the old western saloon doors.
So I'm christening this my 'Pub Door' chassis.
Dunno if it will work, so there is only one to find out.

Hey Ben, pretty cool idea letting the turn marshall see the flag !
Gentlemen Lucky 13 participants, I would like to give you a heads up on my recent USPS mailing experience sending my car to the UK. I mailed it at the local post office, Priority International, on 6 March, cost me about $42. I was told it could not be insured for more than about $60. So, off she went. The time of delivery they estimate is 6 to 10 working days. Today has been 10 working days and still no show. For $42 I got not enough insurance, no tracking confirmation, and an overdue delivery.
I learned online at USPS.com that if I had scheduled a home pickup, it would have been cheaper, insurable for it's true value, and trackable. Taking it to the post office handicapped me.
Why am I crying and telling you this ? Because time is getting short, and I want you to know International mail service is SLOW.
On my customs form, I identified it as a "Toy car". Maybe it is stalled at UK Customs. Hopefully it shows up soon.
Good Luck, guys, I look forward to great competition.

Hope it gets there Paul. Fingers crossed.
I was surprised with the effort of our Aussie Post.
I left the package on Thursday 14th, at cost $17.20 and it arrived the following Wednesday.
Sydney to London in around 6 days.

I too hope yours gets there Paul.
"Road Warrior" left here on Thursday last week and arrived in Wembly today.
Once again: 6 days and that is normal for anything I send to Steve.

I may have used a bigger box than needed, and that is my fault. Lesson learned. Use small boxes, and mail from home via internet, not the post office.

First laps for the early arrivals last night with the track still too slippery for serious research but they still made an inspiring sight.
White #8 Team Lowrider car is still wearing temporary bodywork while the real deal gets sufficient Evil dripped on to it.
Pablo, and others; I currently have three packages to be collected from the Post Office which will be done tomorrow, one with a Customs charge attached to it. Parcel Force has a fourth package with a rather more substantial Import VAT charge attached. These won't be all proxy Thingies but some will be. Those still awaiting news of their car should take heart, but still get your cars mailed out as soon as possible please.

Sure wish my car would arrive today. $42 for 19+ days is a joke.
To say that sucks is an understatement! Sorry your car hasn't arrived. Hope it turns up not only for your car actually being safe but for your participation in the race series.

Pleasured by Pablo's Thingie. How very dear.
The sled & rolling stock for the Team Evil Minnow entry has arrived at Duffy's, to be dressed kissed & sent off anon. Then it's MY arthritic digits that get crossed.

Har! I can't wait either...
Currently kinda busy, & I know when I start putting up Vanity Shots I have the potential to eat up a good bit of time; into the post first, Vanity (saith the Preacher) later. (Well, he didn't say that, exactly.)
