I was able to watch the live feed for awhile until the stream dried up after about an hour +, don't know what happened. The passes I watched looked real good, only the orange sedan was having an issue...hope he got it figured out.

Good looking track and great looking cars entered, what's the car count up to?

Sure glad my cars made it in one piece and ran ok. The little Fiat is a fun car to race, sure makes a lot of noise doesn't it!!!

Thanks to all involved in todays testing and race preparations, its takes a lot of time and effort to host an event and we appreciate all you're doing. The live feed is a bonus...great idea!!!  :good:

BillB The live feed took some time to get it going, the first set up I had the camera wasn't up to snuff for the job, I had to go off my Cell Phone to get it to work, one problem these cell phones get hot, plus the test and tune was pretty much over by that time.

Yes the Orange Sedan (Orange Crate) John was finnaly able to get her to run a little better after a few tire changes, gears and other issues.

Count, I don't have it yet,  DC-65x will post them probably later today or tomorrow. I think maybe about 20 entries....?

The Fiat, I didn't realy get to hear it run, between the trying to get the live feed on and removing cars from the finnish line, I was sort of dazed.

I think we will have a better show next Saturday...

I really enjoyed the live feed D  Van, thanks! It did make me "home sick" for the good times I always had at Eddie's.

Rodney has asked me to wait for the results from the final event next Sat. before posting anything. We don't want to get anyone's hopes up if they did well last Sat. and get bumped by a faster car.

We'll have the class results along with pictures, times and comments on each car posted.

What do you think, should I post the results in this thread????

Just finished watching the recorded feed. Lots of Nice looking cars!

I figured you might have to rotate the wires but figured it would be better to let you check and do.

The rubber band on the Brass Rail is just to keep the drop arm from flopping, can leave on or remove, your call.

Lookin GOOD !!!

I agree with Rodney. Those of us that are bringing cars Saturday don't need to know the times, plus nothing means anything until the 13th, correct??? I would say post the results in this thread...after the actual race is over.

DC-65X the results will wait until after Sat. race and then I say post them on this thread, not every one gets to my site.

Hiline the rubber band was removed when testing. And both did good once I reversed the wires.

BoxerDog, Can't wait to meet you, remember after the proxy race they're having a vintage bracket race.

Note: Rodney decided to run the cars individualy, so in case they would deslot we wouldn't damage the cars, now on Sunday we ran the cars one at the time to see how they would perform, made a few changes then Rodney kept track of the times these cars ran, Ron did most of the racing of these and I picked up the cars at the finnish line, so the race would move a little faster, Rodney has all the times saved up and will intergrate them with next Saturdays race to determine the winner by fastest E.T. in each class.

BoxerDog could you please email me at bracket500@live.com  I have a couple of question to ask you.

I just sent an email...btw, how many runs does each car get??? One, best of three, ??? I do kinda like the format in that it leaves out RT and potential car damage, but I think that all runs should be on the same day to rule out changes in track condition, voltage, etc.

Boxer, I was not the race director for Sundays Proxy Race this past Sunday, I will try to get all these cars to run at least one more time on Saturday if times permits.

As far as I know, I beleive they ran them three times each and the best time was recorded.

Regarding the live feed, I forgot to mention for sounds, if you run your mouse near the bottom left corner of the screen (On the video screen) it's self a "speaker icon" will pop up and you can adjust level, and as well as the volume control on your computer. That way you can hear the sounds of the drag strip. On the right hand side of the screen there's should be a button that will open a chat room, so that way you can post a message to the track.

Now remember there's a slight delay from Broadcast time to when you see the Broadcast.

I'm still working on improving the system for this Saturday, on Wednesday night we have bracket racing, I will be playing with the live feed, if you guys want to check in, starting time around 6 P.M. PST.- 8 P.M. Central, 9 P.M. East coast time...

No guarantees that I will have it all solved, again be patient.

Fellow Racers: The Live Feed will be on for Saturdays V-Town Rumble, starting at 1 P.M. I might have to shut it down for 15 minutes after every hour I run it, so please wait for the cam to come back on.

I will try to get a better shot of the track as well.

1 P.M. P.S.T.  3 P.M. C.S.T and 4 P.M. E.S.T.

See you online, remember to use the chat room. (on right side of screen)

Gator Bob. Yes Eddies has been around for a long time, we try to keep things mellow.

To all sent in entries, all cars survived the race, it was a one lane race with ET and MPH records

kept, the best ET wins the class. We did have 40 cars entered for this race.

I will have all the details, numbers and pictures of the event up in the next couple of days.

Again thanks the BillB (BadRacing9.com) for the set up board and injectors, Rick for the chassis

and Bracket500 for all the prizes, the sent in racers will get their prize when I ship the boxes on Tuesday.

Again thanks for all you guys for sending the cars, the locals realy enjoyed seeing cars build

in other parts of the U.S.

As to the live feed, I will try to get some better equipment for the next race, and maybe a better

internet connection!! arrgggg!!! We will have some of it on YouTube and if you go the livefeed

link you can watchc some of the past racing and some of todays race.

Thanks, DVan, I'll keep an eye out for the postman.

"Congratulations" to all the racers, 40 entries is a strong showing and a wide variety of cars. Having the different classes adds interest to the race.

Thanks to all for putting on this race... you all did a great job. Lets keep it going !!

A big  :good:.

BillB, glad to hear everything made it back safe.

Charlie (from Georgia) wants your Fiat. He has some questions about motors you might be able to help him with.

Hiline, glad to hear yours made it, too, raffle tickets were your tickets for your entries, that's what the prize is from....

This should be it:

Gregory Wells

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
