No problem with that at all, Mike.

Rob... OK, OK..I. get it... I need to tech faster and Ron needs to develop an improved "Fast Ones" spray technique. :laugh2:

Just when I got my 'out of sight" clear sides technique down pat. :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I've been thinking about just painting my cars white, then using different colored Sharpies® to create a design. They would be easy to touch up after a race, as well as remove completely, and start over. Would something like this even be allowed? I gar-ron-tee I could draw up some pretty neat stuff!

I think I will just start painting mine on the outside for quicker (five seconds or less) touch ups. :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I vote for front tire stickers, clear sides, flat interiors, wider and smaller diameter rear tires, the 'ultimate' Ti22 body in .005", no weight minimums, and FASTER motors.

Git 'er done.

Oops... wrong thread. The USRA site is on the other board.

I like that Ron is racing Retro now as he takes all the heat away from me on body paint jobs...

As one of the fast guys here used to say, if you don't care how it looks, why bother caring about how it runs?

If you don't want to beat those nice bodies up, then drive better and stay out of trouble. How many winners cars look really beat up? Those that stay on and out of trouble come home the winner on most counts usually. YMMV. :)

Driving to your comfort level and not the guy's next to you and staying out of trouble will do wonders for your concentration, your car, and body. :victory:

You could still be running butyrate bodies. :laugh2:

Ron,

I was going to keep your secret of how you go so fast for myself and Billibob, but it is just too good.

Next time any of you see Ron racing on a King track, watch his eyes. You would think it would be a steely-eyed stare, but no, three blinks per lap. One on the lead-on, one in the finger, one under the bridge, lap after lap. Billibob can confirm this as I had him watch for awhile.

Everytime I tried this I crashed! :shok: :laugh2:

Bill...

You mean you didn't watch his Zen breathing? :laugh2: I only saw him gasp once and that was when his guide got sheared off during the Flexi GT race.

I also noticed that Ron is one of the few racers that uses only one hand while driving, meaning he does not support the controller with his other hand.

I only use one hand on the controller... How come I'm not as fast as Ron?  :shok:

Guys,

Bill Fulmer sent me a CD of his pics from the R4 and I'll be posting a few of them to the R4 coverage thread later today.

There's one I will be titling "Concentration" that's worth looking at.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
