If you think his building skills are good (and they are), you should see him drive a slot car. I did for 15 yrs. When Dom showed up, the rest of us were racing for second place.
My yrs. mentioned above were 1996-2010.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Thanks guys for the compliments.
Chris, yes the rear tines float just like on the Jackal Pro.
Bruce, I basically took the measurements for the pans based off my jackal pro kit between the wheels. I got mostly lucky with the wire bending. Only took 6 attempts for the first side and 3 for the other side.
I track tested it today and it was very good. I will likely be racing it tomorrow at retro palooza.

A complete Pablo built RETRO legal Can Am race car for Kevin. Modified JKX25R, old skool hinged pans, 7 .039 rails per side, ChiTown tongue/flag/axle collars, Bartos fronts, RF crown, Koford rear axle, and a stunningly beautiful Parma Ti-22 paint and interior by Noose

Since making my own kits I don't build from scratch too often but here are a couple chassis I finished up for a customer in California.
A retro coupe angle winder with .900" guide lead, 3-15/16" wheel base, and 6 rails of .047. Wish bone is .062 wire with a .016 x 1/4" brass strip. Pans were an extra set I had for a Jackal Pro that were a little out of spec (too heavy) so they worked perfect for this build. Should come in around 92 grams when fully dressed.
Next up is a Can Am car modeled after my 2019 Retro Palooza Can Am plus winning car. This one has .900" guide lead, 3-3/4" wheel base, and 4 rails of .039 wire. The original design used 6 rails of .047 but with the shorter wheel base and lower down force bodies I wanted a little more flex in the chassis. Wish bone is .062 wire with a .016 x 1/4" brass strip. Should come in around 85 grams fully dressed.

Interesting treatment of the "tuning fork" on that Toronto. Don't think I've ever seen that before.
