I never bought any of the JK Cheetah 7 chassis.. I have seen that F1 version before. I have the narrow pans that fits on the JK Cheetah for F1, go karts, & snowmobile bodies. It was the JK Cheetah 7 sportscar chassis they reversed the pans on, Those chassis came in different thicknesses of centersections, but I don't recall if aluminum pans were available too.

Rmjlmartin ,seems like I haven't given you a time line because I haven't really posted these in chronological order, and have provided very few dates. Hopefully this will not go on my permanent record.
Well, maybe if you promise to do some rehab or something? lol No worries, I'm enjoying watching where it's going. Y'all take it as far off topic as you want.
I'm enjoying seeing all these pictures of the old chassis. I've collected a lot of them myself. In fact, I have an old Flexi very similar to Bob's. It's one that I've had since the mid 90s and pulled back out of storage when a track opened up here locally. I updated it and raced it a time or two before getting a newer JK car. I haven't raced it in the exact configuration that it's in now, but I would like to, if I can get it running well enough to be competitive.

The one that DNF!
The paint looks good. Did you paint it yourself? What body is that? Did you build the chassis yourself? What DNF'd ya? I see Dan had a DNF too.
I never had a car that needed Brown Stick-it. I used a lot of Stick-it red & some 'Go Lightly'. I wonder if anyone will take over manufacturing Stick-it? I've heard Joel isn't well enough to manufacture anything.

At one time, Parma sold two F1/Indy bodies for use with the narrow pans. I don't think JK's JRL bodies fit without extensive cutting. Those narrow pans will also fit on a Flexi 2. It was quite popular to use the narrow pan on a 4.5" Flexi 2 chassis with a model car kit body for hard body racing. Those narrow pans have been hard to obtain for about 10 yrs.

In the days before retro racing (early 2000s), BPR in CA, ran these Eurotoy chassis with sealed Parma 16D motors & a variety of vintage bodies. I have both 1/32 & 1/24 Eurotoys cadmium plated yellow. The 1/32 can be tuned to run extremely well, I never set up the 1/24. A Brazilian company released some nickel plated 1/32 Eurotoys a few yrs. ago, but I don't think they had a 1/24.

That's interesting. I have a 1/32 Eurotoy, too. I haven't run it much at all, just a few laps on the very bad tires that came on it, so I can't comment on how well it does. I had someone else tell me recently that they thought the Eurotoy was the best handling of the older 1/32 flexi style chassis. (the new JK stuff likely being better) I can't say that I have an opinion either way, since the only one I've run any amount is the Parma International 32. I think I own at least most of the older 1/32 flexi chassis. I'll post some pics later.

And yes, I know there's a screw missing. lol It fell out when I ran the car, and I didn't notice it until after I took this picture a few months ago. I understand that they're very prone to coming out. What I did to remedy that was get some front axle collars from a JK Indy car and filed them down to fit the holes, then got some screws long enough to go through the collars. That way you have a bit of movement in the chassis, but the screws can be tightened down against something.
This is a screenshot, and I think this is the particular collar I used, if that looks like something someone else might like to try. I haven't had a chance to run it yet to find out how well it does.
