I agree, they are ugly.

Yah,I noticed on a 888 that Parma located the spring in the centre. Somewhere there's a thread that describes how someone had a bender for the front axle uprights.
I'm sure if I look, I'll find the bracket (bottom of the box).
I'm surprised you didn't notice why I switched the chassis.

My question is.....
I thought green wire was for the wasp motor.
(dc65-x that was the real reason for not using it)
Anyone know ?
(that's a hint Isaac)

How long is the stack? And is it tagged?

If the stack is long, than it is possible that it is a Mura Challenger arm. I don't think those were c-can sized but I don't really know.

I don't know about the unbalanced Challenger I, but the Challenger II, with a .440 stack fits a C-can. It's also called Competitor, Sportsman, & Contender, depending upon who wound it.

One thing I found out the hard way is that you don't want to true the tyers to much. Like I did. Now they don't touch the track. Another thing, although the RedFox body has GREAT detail on where to cut the weelwells & the lower body, it's to low for my liking. If you ( like I did) go by there line you wind-up with to thin of a upper weel arch.
Later today I'll fix this. Kinda sucks ,I wanted to run it tonight! I still might.
Any thoughts on the track clearance? I'm using the old faithful Champion aluminium gauge. Anyone ( BillNH) have a better idea?

A foot length of the appropriate diameter piano wire.

DUHH: the tyers were just hanging up on the pans.
Trim the pans, not the tires. Save the rubber for the track. Pans are made for smaller tires than what you are using.

Clean up the chassis in post # 38. It looks like someone took a **** on it. You didn't ask, but that chassis is a Rehco too.

I finally bought a Paasche air brush. It's a day and night improvement over the 37+ year old Bagger I've been using.
I made the interior from .006" stock. Nuthin fancy.

Is that red or is that red.
Actually,REH had both. If you look closer you can see the difference. One was +$, the other was-$. I think AM Line was +$.

Paasche is a good airbrush. Which model did you get? I still have my 52 yr. old single action Binks, I works good. What model was your old Badger? They're a good brand & have easy to get parts.
