Sometimes it is hard to find the wall you like best.

NSwanberg, I think I like ALL the walls ! Especially the dead man on a Blue King at full throttle with mush button depressed !
I'm hoping to find out tonight. Hopefully it won't burn up on liftoff or re-entry. After all, this is rocket science, not brain surgery.

As always, yet another last minute addition. Aside from Bill NH who can see EVERYTHING, can you see the U shaped wire body support? Once again, super glue would (maby) work for this. Or, unlike me, you could cut the body right the FIRST time.

While it's on ( what's left of my ) my mind, I didn't add the motor brace ,as BillNH suggested because I didn't want to desecrate the motor. It's a good idea to do this. You can thank BillNH.

Super glue isn't strong enough to hold that body brace, solder it on, never mind  the looking "pretty".

The motor brace saves you gears. Just screwing a motor in is a lousy idea. Screws are known to loosen up.

In your #78 post photo, get rid of the brass leadwire tab hanging below the chassis. That's a potential source for a short & illegal at most tracks. anyway.

I bet it would surprise you if I said I have 20/200 vision in my best eye. Experience helps too.

Agreed, solder the motor in, and use a buss bar and cut off the tab.

14- & 16-gauge house wire both make good buss bars.

I was just thinking a Mura buss bar. I would bet he has one. A handmade buss bar would also work.

though I posted a picture of the motor . Unusual that it still has both. I checked the dementia of the arm against a new mura s wasp. Identical. I'm pretty sure the green wire is strictly for SW motors. I'm sure I will be corrected if not.

My arms aren't the Mura brand so I can't check anything. The Challenger is 55T of 30 ga., the Super Wasp is 60T of 30 ga. They both use 30 ga, so the SW wouldn't have to have special wire whether it's green or any other color.

BillNH & Isaac, I'm surprised you didn't notice the clear tape on the frame rail.

I'd be surprised if I found any tape, clear or not, on the frame rails in your post #78 photo,  :laugh2: What's it for & how many laps do you expect it to stick? At least you didn't use paper masking tape like a guy from Michigan did..  :clapping:

You go over the falls live. Three days later, they find you posthumously. A ride on the "Maid of the Mist" is cheaper than the price of a good barrel. plus, they give out hooded raincoats to keep everything dry but your face.

This is the chassis (on the left) that BilkNH said lookd like someone pooped on it.
The one on the right is the next one to be built.
