NO NEED TO REMOVE THE TIRES.

Yes Mike I agree on this as well. Let each host clean the tires when they get to the track. Really no need to do it then ship them closed up in a bag. I like ZipGrip or my Love Lotion but not sealed up. Just clean and wipe the tires after ea. application before a race then ship to the next and they do the same.

ive also been using Trinity Tire Tweek,no Wintergreen oil,and like Sticky Fingers, doesnt "attack" plastics of any type(bodies/paints/decals/etc),
but i like the idea of Naptha/lighter fluid, being used to clean the tires first,by the person(s)doing the race directing at HIS track when the race gets there, that should be good to go on most, especially the cars with the new modern day rubber compounds,
the others like Barney said, wipe on wipe off before the race, good to go.

You can put tire tweak on the night before and just let it sit. It increases the bite by putting modified back into the tires. Wipe off good. Before you put any traction compound on.

The tire tweak will not soften the rubber like the other traction formulas do.

Hey Tony,
Thanks. ZipGrip does soften rubber right?

I have a feeling most of these cars, especially the more stock Dynamics are going to run fine just by cleaning the tires. Dominic's car being more towards the latter than mine worked better without any grip aids. When they were applied the car got "tippy."

Careful Pablo, Miss K is "Kathryn", Lowrider's significant other. ;)

The photos on Phil's car are of Princess Kate. Two different ladies.

Probably my fault, and I apologize.

I made a comment about rubber chemicals that was "yellow light". :)

Sorry.

Pablo's Cucaracha is coming to London with the other cars, right?

It's funny how Edo's Choti in the SunChaser series never went the same after its last visit here...

Steve-a-roonie,

Here is what was originally posted regarding your car:

Rubber: Secrete formula of British beer and Princess Kate's nylons

Nothing racy was said or intended to refer to Miss-K.
My comments were about Princess Kate, and her alleged nylons being somehow mixed in the tire compound. NOT your significant other.

So I don't understand why you are mad at me. I would never say anything stupid about someone's family member.

Jairus, please back me up here.

WoW, That IS scarry!

And to think it all started with an issue of translation - Secrete vs Secret

ya know like: Fibre Optic Cable vs Fiber Optic Cable or Bonnet vs Hood,

Backin ya up Pablo, just backing you up.

The part I commented on was "Princess Kate",
nobody else.
How it got perceived as Miss-K, is not my fault.
But I apologised anyway.
