Thanks Mike That was fun to watch
Have any of the cars lost, bent, or broke any body parts yet, like knockoffs or exhausts ?
Lots of crashing going on in the King race

Grats to Pablo and Steve for the wins! Grats to the other pod-people! Grats to all entrants! Grats to Mike, the drivers and anyone else who made the proxy race possible!

Thanks to ALL of the Drivers and Marshalls that made this Proxy Race a success. Congratulations to Pablo on the Flat Track and Steve King on the King for your wins.................Most of all Congratulations to Pablo for the Overall Win. His was the best of the Lightweight Cars. The "Rear Steer" Chassis worked well on Both Tracks.
I'm sure Mike will post some additional pics later.

Race was a fun time. Pretty sure all the cars survived intact. Some were quite a handful on the King but everyone handled them well. Congrats to Pablo

Congratulations Pablo and Steve and Pablo again for the overall win
Great event I hope that the drivers had fun and I would like to thank them and Mike for making it all happen.
I am not totally sure how those papers work but it seems I am last or second last.
All good for me it was more for the participating and wanting to test idea's.
I noticed my car was a handful and I hope I can get some constructive criticism on where I wen't wrong and what if any worked for my build.
The more the better this way I can learn for the next build.

It was a great time. I'm particularly happy that so many jumped on this train. I always
thought I was a little weird in that I had an interest in the early open wheeled Indy and Sprint
cars. But all the entrants and the volunteer drivers made this the fun event I hoped it could be.

Pablo kills the field .. WTG
King comes a long way to beat up on a Fast US King
Shout out to Ray for super low 6.444 TQ and the great job finishing and keeping cars on the track.
The result was more than expected ... a Big thanks to all you guys for the inspiration to build a chassis that "worked" in the race.

I think Ray had the best race lap as well, his car was real nice to drive. It lost some speed during the King Track race, but Gambo bounced it off the wall and the car came alive again! The Pablo car was great on the flat track considering how light it was. The Israelite and Crevie cars were also very good.
I don't understand this from the builder side, but the driving was fun.

Wow ... Good Job .... All the cars survived the King.
I thought for sure there would be some bent badly front axles at best.

One question to you experienced drivers and builders: what made # 17 so slow?

Jens, don't forget the cars were races as delivered. No changes were made, I don't think any of the cars were really bad, 20 mins in the hands of a local racer and the field would have been a lot closer. Ray and Crevie had a major home track advantage, so it's even more amazing that to out of town cars were 1st and 2nd.

George, the driver impressions are important feedback .. Thanks.
Jens, Mike got your car down to 6.95 on the King. So the car was not that slow ... just not easy to drive. If you had fun and learned something it's all good. Glad you had decided to join in....
BTW: didn't you beat me in the last proxy at Mike's ?
