Let me address this please.
I asked that very question last Tuesday and on that day, there was no confirmed delivery date known, nor, if I read between the lines, no confirmation of a production run actually having occurred (my assumption). Again let me say that the order being awaited was placed last August, ten months ago!
The IRRA BoD felt that it needed to act now to ensure the continuity of IRRA Retro racing in the months ahead. And it knew that, no matter what action was taken, the second-guessers would have a field day online and, as can be seen here and elsewhere, they have.
Greg, assuming all that is true, there is no reason that the F7 should not have been here by now. As the grapevine had it, there were new samples here (early 2013) and did not work out well, sooo, get the F7s back ASAP. Ten months? Someone is not ordering what they say they are ordering. Odd that Trinity can get 65 turn motors made, but PdL can not?
But the fact remains, there is an escape valve on the FK motors and that is the TSR, which is here, available, and proven. Why do we need two FK motors for Retro? Maybe this was ploy taken, who knows? who cares? It backfired again!
Yes, it will be dicussed, ask questions, lots of questions and keep asking questions until someone comes up with something solid. Ultimately, it's your ball, bat, and ballpark and we will have to live with how you rule.
