Here is my current ride.

ebay 591.jpg

This was my truck before I just traded it in on a Pearl white Highlander which I gave to the wife.

slot 172.jpg

Here is the last car I restored before I got hurt. Factory four-speed, stripped to bare metal, painted PPG Vette Torch red. New quarters, etc. Everything done by me. Stupidly, I sold it.

Meet The Beast... '93 Caprice. :laugh2: Not really a beast... very civilized... gets a lot of respect out on the superslab, too... even though she doesn't get out there much... mostly an around-town conveyance. Have had it since about '98 and has been the most trouble-free car I've ever owned.

With the nice weather coming, I'd rather ride!

Everyone always get the blue and white. :laugh2: Bad photo of my bike. Unfortunately, my doctor recommended I stop riding. So it just now sits in the garage unless I sell it.

2003 Ford F-350 4WD. I got it with the rear seat extended cab so it can double as a family vehicle when necessary. Parking does require some "planning ahead", especially way out here on the end of Long Island where everything is sized for Bimmers, Benzes, Maseratis, and Lambos (I live in the "blue collar" side of town)... but the thing gets through anything from deep mud at jobsites to snow drifts without breathing hard. It will also carry an ungodly amount of weight for a single axle vehicle, something I test on a regular basis.

If it weren't for Ford's aluminum head V8's tendencies to cough out a spark-plug every so often resulting in a $800 repair, it would be about the perfect work vehicle.:angry::unsure: Love the solid front axle and no real work truck should ever have an independent front end. If you want a squishy soft ride, buy a Buick. :)

As long as the "change engine" light don't come on! :laugh2:

Yeah... who dropped the ball in '02 that has that model rated as the least dependable :shok: (according to Consumer Reports) of the 986/7s? Mine has checked out sound so far but I suspect the previous owner did not replace the ribbed multi-function belt at the specified mileage, so my next expense will be... an oil change? Do you know how much ten quarts of synthetic oil costs?. Of course you do. Something tells me that this one won't be done at Jiffy Lube. :laugh2:

Here is the dog... it is old, it smells of dog, it carries dogs, and it's covered 219000 km.
It doesn't cost much in repairs now but fuel costs are another thing.

NZ is the land of imports...J apanese imports. This Cherokee is one of them.

I drive it daily and the Mrs. drives a Honda.

PS: There two dogs in the last pic, OK?

1965 original black/red 375 HP with factory fuel injection. I drove this every day through the '80s. These are some of the cars I have owned and driven.

Greg,

It is an automatic. Had my uncle from Texas look for it. Not many know that they are cool cars. A friend in high school dumped the six and wedged a 428 in the car. Twisted the unibody like no tomorrow.

Mine even has GM factory air. Body is in fair shape due to a door getting caved in when it was in storage at my folk's house. It is painted that ugly blue/green right now. Thinking painting up like the '69 TA . White with the dual blue stripes as that is my dream car.

It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Yeah,we drive on the left just like in Japan.
This vehicle was made in Canada as an export vehicle.(according to the door sticker)
We get many cars eg BMW,Merc,Audi that are set up for Japan use.
NZ then imports the unwanteds and leftovers.
Importers must make the vehicle comply to NZ standards and away we go.

The black corvette is one of my favourites....those mags, the lake pipes....the horses!!!

Thanks, Mike. Yes, my Cobra had flares early in its life before I got it. They were done just like the F.I.A. car, looked cooler than stock and were done really well. Otherwise car was all original including engine. Perfect condition.

George came by a let me have his old ride. Must be a few million miles on the thing. I have no idea what powers it but I know it doesn't use gas or the Mr. Fusion Flux Capacitor either. I fly down the 405, literally, at speeds that make all the BMW, Audi, and Porsche drivers jealous. I think a paint job is coming up...

Okay--Howie has inspired me--- I"ll post a "total collection" of my current cars. Starting with most recent to the "oldest" in the collection. Of course--it helps a LOT that I"ve not sold very many cars I've owned. Been lucky enough to just keep them!!

First up---1965 Plymouth Belvedere Hemi A990 factory race car!! 426 Hemi with dual quad cross ram--headers and 727 trans.
