Here are 2 Circle Tracks that i raced in my Teen years around Southern Iliinois. The UMP Hornet Car was a Plymouth Sundance. You couldnt hurt it. Then i moved up to UMP Street Stock/Sportsman which we still have. Plans are to have it back racing next summer, along with our drag car we are building. The good ol times whenever i didnt have a job. Worked on race cars every day after school.

Okay--Howie has inspired me--- I"ll post a "total collection" of my current cars. Starting with most recent to the "oldest" in the collection. Of course--it helps a LOT that I"ve not sold very many cars I've owned. Been lucky enough to just keep them!!

First up---1965 Plymouth Belvedere Hemi A990 factory race car!! 426 Hemi with dual quad cross ram--headers and 727 trans.

WOW!!!! A real A990. Is it numbers matching?
Do you know the difference between education and experience? Education is when you read the fine print; experience is what you get when you don't.

Hey! Where's the slot on this track?
Had this one since 1990 and not afraid to drive it. I restored it once, I can do it again...

These are what i play with.I am the chief engineer and also manage the team as it is only small(6 guys and a cook)The sedan is the the car we got 4th in New Zealand rally championship.First time in championship so was good effort. The Crashed car is what is left of it after a 200kph rollover at start on next years champs. The MY08 is the new car me and the driver built over the summer for 2010 champs.Mixed season with breakages and struggling to get our heads around the grip setups as it is far different from the sedan.Better season this year but only did small ralies as cash is low.Hope to run car back in nat champs 2012.Both cars are full FIA GpN cars and up to current specs.

Sometimes I miss my old hillclimb track in the garage. :friends:
The 911 is in Total 911 this month. :)
The 02 Z06 has 470rwhp and many track upgrades.
What a fun contrast tracking the 911 compared to the Vette.
This Vette is so easy to drive fast.

Tim really dig your old Chevy truck too. :D

When do we get some updates on Mill's RBS?
Mill have you got to test drive your new hot rod?

In car video from the 911..

Vette in car video, since this replaced the stock 3.42 r/p with a 4.10.

Where are the Port-O-Potties on this desolate land? :)
Nice lines, and sure the Vette must be easier but the Pork is a challenge! :D

so I picked up a thunder roadster, 1500lb with me in it.
watercooled 1300cc Hayabusa 175hp 10,000rpm with a sequential 6 speed.
This is the 3rd track car I have now and by far the cheapest to run.
Runs on 91 octane and the less expensive tires/brakes last a year.
_L_80158s.JPG
_L_70142s.JPG
from my buddies Lite car.

perfect roadster weather.
3 day weekend and 8 hours of seat time.

My track buddies want me to step in this all fresh Crown Royal COT car....
I've never been a big Nascar fan but I like a fast/safe and affordable race car.
What track car for around $40k would you buy/race?
